Mintages for China Pandas are typically far lower than other bullion issues from other mints around the world and because of their changing designs each year, they are highly desirable by collectors and gold investors around the world. China Panda coins are issued each year in pure, 24K gold and their weights are based on the metric system of measure. Each Set includes a coin weighing 30 grams, 15 grams, 8 grams, 3 grams, and 1 gram, which equates to 1.83 ounces of pure gold.
2019 5-Coin Mint State-70 China Gold Panda Set
Austin Rare Coins is pleased to offer a very limited amount of complete, five-coin Chinese gold Panda sets from 2019. Each set contains a perfect, Mint State 70 example of each gold coin issued by the People’s Republic of China for the year. A few years ago Chinese Pandas switched over to the metric system of weights and measures, and the coins in these sets range from a tiny, one gram size up to the large, 30 gram denomination. As with most Chinese Panda gold issues, the obverse depicts the Temple of Heaven with the date 2019, underneath. The reverse changes each year, with this year’s issue depicting a beautiful, Giant Panda cradling her baby with mountains in the background. Please note that the holders may vary from the image shown, however, all coins will be graded by NGC in mint state 70 condition.
