Saint Gaudens Gold Coins
From 1907 until 1933, the United States Mint issued the Saint-Gaudens double eagle, a twenty-dollar gold piece. The currency bears the name of its creator, sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens, who created both the obverse and reverse. It is regarded by many as the most beautiful of all American coins.
