Indian Head Gold Coin

The United States Mint produced a two-and-a-half-dollar piece, or quarter eagle, and a five-dollar coin, or half eagle, both of which were known as Indian Head gold coin pieces or Pratt-Bigelow gold coins. From 1908 to 1915, as well as from 1925 to 1929, the quarter eagle was produced.
